a little about me...
Hey, I'm Maria, Thanks for stopping by.
Here's a little bit about me .... (although I got a bit carried away and it's actually quite a lot so feel free to skip this)...
I left school at 17 after I had just met my 'boyfriend', who is now my husband (Handsome man in the picture). I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I researched:
" Who's happiest in their jobs? "
TOP ANSWER: Beauty Therapists and Hairdresser's
....and that was it - I was sold!
(obviously not the hairdressing part as I barely even know how to do a ponytail)
Since starting beauty therapy as my career, I honestly believe in the saying:
" Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life"
After two years of studying, I set up a treatment room in my mum and dads house, spending all my savings on products and equipment, did a leaflet drop around the area and started doing home clients alongside my full time job. I worked at a salon within a Health Club and became the Manager of my department at only 21. I was lucky enough to have a General Manager who trusted me, and allowed me to run the department how I thought best. I had an amazing team and we made it a huge success with some incredibly loyal and wonderful clients during my 7 year period there.
In 2014, my husband and I got married in Vegas (not by Elvis), traveled South East Asia, Australia and finished our travels in Perth. We fell in love with the beautiful weather and way of life.
Fast Forward to 2020, after numerous jobs, more travelling, a baby (the 4yr old in the picture) and finally buying our own house here in Perth - We renovated our carport and I created a beautiful dedicated treatment studio in my new home for clients to come and relax.
2020 the year none of us expected - literally one client done and my doors were closed - DAMN YOU COVID! ...but little did I know; that would be the best thing that happened to my brand new small business. When I could open my doors again, I had overwhelming support from friends and locals which was absolutely incredible and I was 'flat out' busy - but whoops - I was already expecting again - so here I am now with another little girl to add to my gang (other cute kid in the picture) and currently limited working hours as 'mum life' is my priority.
Within business, Customer Service and happy clients are my Number 1 - I truly believe my job is to welcome you, make you feel relaxed and comfortable, give you top quality treatments at an affordable price. I'm here to listen to you, advise and recommend from the knowledge I have, but mostly, I want you to return because you enjoyed the whole experience! Although my working hours are currently limited, they will expand within time.
